Kaiko Extends Series B to $110M With S&P Global, BNP Paribas
Kaiko has extended its Series B funding round to $110 million in a strategic investment led by S&P Global, with BNP Paribas among a roster of financial institutions joining the raise as the crypto data provider deepens its push into infrastructure for tokenized markets.
The Kaiko Series B funding announcement, dated September 14, 2026, frames the deal as a strategic bet on the plumbing that will underpin onchain capital markets, arriving as traditional institutions increasingly stake positions in digital-asset data and reference infrastructure. It lands in a market where broad sentiment sits at 57 on the Fear & Greed Index, in “Greed” territory, and where legacy finance names continue courting crypto rails much as they have across recent US market-structure legislative drafts.
A $110 million round total, not a fresh tranche
The headline figure describes the cumulative size of the extended Series B, not a newly raised amount disclosed in this extension. Kaiko says the investment led by S&P Global brings its Series B to $110 million in total. For related coverage, see Revolut Shared Passports, Bitcoin Data After Fake Request.

The company says the financing will strengthen both its core digital-asset data business and its expanding infrastructure offering for onchain capital markets. CEO Ambre Soubiran said Kaiko now covers over 150 exchanges and protocols, and the company reports having completed acquisitions of Cometh and Amberdata, statements attributed to Kaiko rather than independently verified filings. S&P Global leads, BNP Paribas joins a broad institutional roster
S&P Global led the strategic investment, and BNP Paribas participated alongside Bpifrance, Broadridge, Canton Foundation, Coinbase Ventures, DRW Venture Capital, Nasdaq Ventures, Royal Bank of Canada, Stellar, and Susquehanna Private Equity Investments. Existing shareholders Anthemis, Point Nine, and Revaia also took part in the extension.
Participating institutions joined a Strategic Industry Working Group chaired by Kaiko to help shape data and infrastructure for tokenized products. The lineup reflects the same convergence of banks, exchanges and crypto-native investors visible elsewhere, from corporate treasury financing moves to institutional flows around spot Bitcoin ETFs.
“As digital assets accelerate, S&P Global is investing for the future, and this investment underscores that conviction,” said Cathy Clay, CEO of S&P Dow Jones Indices.
Joe Bonnaud, Head of Global Markets EMEA at BNP Paribas, said the bank was pleased to participate in the round alongside a diverse group of financial institutions, adding that as tokenized finance evolves, the demand for robust market infrastructure, enhanced transparency, and trusted data will become paramount, and that BNP Paribas looked forward to engaging in the industry dialogues led by Kaiko.
Kaiko’s positioning sits close to a separate collaboration with Bloomberg, which initially targets access to Bloomberg Data License offerings for tokenized U.S. Treasuries and repo workflows on the Canton Network. That effort describes entitlement controls intended to limit access to licensed participants while preserving data intellectual-property ownership, licensing compliance, and auditability, illustrating how common reference data could reduce reconciliation friction as tokenized products scale.
On the regulatory front, Kaiko says its Indices business is authorized as a benchmark administrator under EU-BMR and listed in the ESMA register, while Cometh is authorized by France’s AMF as a CASP under MiCA. Kaiko also reports SOC 1 and SOC 2 Type 2 attestations and adherence to IOSCO benchmark principles, all company statements that do not by themselves establish regulatory approval of this funding round.

Extension amount and investment terms
The announcement discloses the round total but not the incremental amount raised in this extension, individual investor contributions, or Kaiko’s valuation. The named participants and the total round size are the extent of what the available context confirms about the financing terms.
Use of proceeds
Beyond Kaiko’s general statement that the capital will support its data business and infrastructure offering, the available context includes no detailed deployment plan or spending breakdown. Independent secondary confirmation of the raise was not obtained, so the figures here rest on Kaiko’s own disclosures.
